Waking Night Support WorkerPay rate: £13.50 - £14.50 per hourShift Pattern: Waking Nights 20:00pm - 8:00amWe've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Bodmin. Thisperson has Autism, Mental health and Learning disabilities but this does not define them. More interestingly they have a wide range of hobbies/Interests such as Drum and bass music, DJing, Cycling, Computer games, Astronomy, Trains and much more!Enriching activities will be an important factor in your support, and you will bring a wonderfully empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person’s life. You will also need to bring previous experience with you in the following:AutismBehaviours that can be perceived as challengingLearning DisabilitiesMental health (Substance misuse/Forensic background, Wards/Units, Inpatient, hospital discharge, Mental health home)What will your shift involve?In this role, you will be providing high quality care on a 1:1 basis, ensuring that the individual you support receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include promoting their independence with daily living skills, supporting their healthy lifestyle choices and budgeting.
