Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will:
* Plan and schedule routine maintenance, outages, and assigned projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Oversee the preparation, tracking, and updating of maintenance and outage schedules.
* Lead weekly maintenance and outage planning meetings, liaising with operations and engineering teams.
* Act as a Maximo “Super User,” ensuring effective use of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to coordinate resources, spares, and outage planning.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain deadlines.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* HNC (or equivalent) in a process or engineering discipline.
* Experience in maintenance and outage planning within an industrial or power generation environment.
* Knowledge of maintenance processes, contract management, and operational procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software (Maximo preferred).
* Familiarity with planning tools such as MS Project or P3.
