Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.The service you will work in….Highbury Grove Recovery House (HGRH) is a recovery focused and psychologically informed 12 bed residential house where adult residents of Islington and Camden can stay for up to 14 days, if they are experiencing a mental health crisis. During their stay residents can expect high quality, non-clinical support from trained Recovery Workers and Re-settlement and Re-integration workers to reduce their crisis and make plans to avoid future crisis, using a range of interventions including 1-1 support, safety plans, wellness & recovery action plans and social prescribing. Re-settlement and Re-integration Workers support the people using the service link in with statutory and other voluntary sector providers and access the local community. You will support individuals throughout their stay by carrying out support and interventions in line with organizational values and the ethos of recovery and co-production, as well as in line with policies and procedures.A day in this role looks like….As a Team Manager at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Highbury Grove Recovery House<
span style="color: rgb(185, 106, 217);"> Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To lead operational day to day delivery of the HGRH under the direction of the Service ManagerWith the Service Manager, to develop joint working and monitoring protocols with key stakeholders and partners for the HGRHTo maintain partnerships with key stakeholders for the HGRHTo manage day to day service performance related to the contract requirements including delivery against KPIs, outcomes and user experience measuresWith the Service Manager to ensure timely and accurate submission of all internal and external reports detailing interim strategies to address any areas of underperformance in line with contract requirementsTo provide effective and inspiring leadership, management and support to the Recovery Workers and Waking Night Workers at the HGRHTo manage the recruitment and induction of new client facing staffTo engage direct reports in annual appraisal and regular supervisionTo work with the Service manager in planning, negotiating and managing the budgets for the Recovery HouseTo operate within Hestia's financial policies and proceduresTo enable service users to work alongside staff as partners in the delivery ofTo define the relationship between service users and staff as one of mutuality and reciprocity, rather than of dependencyTo develop co-production projects with service users that can help participants to extend their social network, well-being and friendships and improve mental health, resilience and coping strategies and increase the range of opportunities open to themWhy Hestia?Joining Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of

To excel in this role, you should possess:Demonstrable experience of supporting people with mental health and complex needsExperience and expertise to manage local management and staff working with people who have complex issues and health problems and a strong understanding of Recovery approaches and co-production incl. knowledge of issues affecting those individuals including paid Experts by Experience staffExperience in recruitment, induction, supervision, motivation, appraisal, trainingExperience of performance monitoring and maintaining consistently high delivery standards and service user standardsExperience and familiarity with running services in an accommodation based setting, including repairs and maintenance and a basic understanding of building and physical healthKnowledge of Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation (including welfare reformKnowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and auditing service users' support and safety assessment plansGood knowledge of MS Office systems, able to use computer systems including case management systems to create accurate reports and able to assess and audit staff ability to use computer systems to record client data accurately and to a high standardAbility to write and interpret reports; excellent level of spoken and written EnglishAbility to complete and record accurate financial transactions and experience of managing budgets and keeping within budgetOur commitment to Equality, Diversity, and InclusionOur services users come from all walks of life and so do we.
