Northamptonshire Children’s Trust are looking for a dedicated and inspiring Service Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality support services that empower children and families to thrive.

As the Service Manager you will have overall responsibility for managing and developing a team of dedicated practitioners. You will ensure that children and families receive tailored, impactful and consistent support that meets their individual needs working to support the whole family. The main areas of responsibility are Early Help, Youth Support Service including Missing Children, Family Solutions -Edge of Care Support and Family Group Decision Making.

We are focussing on protecting children and young people and keeping them safe, whilst developing our family help services to ensure that we provide children and families with the support they need at the right time.

What will you be doing?To plan, implement and evaluate services under own control, contributing to relevant strategies and service plans and produce updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

About youYou will have a proven track record leading and managing within Children and Family Support Services including Early Help and Social Care. We are looking for an individual who can provide inspirational, inclusive, and engaging leadership in the strategic and operational delivery of our service offer. 

You will be a dynamic, forward thinking Senior Manager, with a key understanding and extensive experience in leading in a fast pace working environment.

You will be confident and able to demonstrate your leadership and management skills, whilst driving forward good Family Help, Prevention and Social work practice delivery, as well as implement continued improvements and positive changes.

You will need to be a strong inclusive leader, who is able to influence, build and maintain strong internal and external relationships to ensure consistency, effective communication and working together.
