Electrical Design Engineer
West Yorkshire
Initial 6-month contract (likelihood of extension)
Rates: �40.00p/h - �45.00p/h (Outside IR35)
Electrical / Control Systems / Medium - Heavy Engineering / AutoCAD Electrical
I am working with a key client based in West Yorkshire who require an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.
As a skilled Electrical Design Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
* Design of control systems using AutoCAD Electrical
* Working on mechanical handling equipment
* Conducting basic hand calculations
* Communicate with suppliers
* Work closely with the electrical engineers to ensure deadlines are met
* Occasional site visits where necessary
The successful Electrical Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
* Keen eye for detail within design and draughting
* Highly experienced user of AutoCAD Electrical
* Worked on complex control systems on relays, contactors and other electrical components within medium to heavy engineering
* Strong communication skills, working closely with electrical engineers
* 18 th Edition Wiring Regs (preferable)
