What is the job role?We are looking to appoint a Casual Education, Health and Care Plan Coordinator to support the Statutory Assessment and Review Service in Coventry. The key responsibilities within this role are:
To develop person centred high quality Education, Health and Care Plans
To review Education, Health and Care Plans updating where appropriate
To liaise with families, young people and a range of agencies to ensure a joined up approach to statutory processes
This role will have responsibility for supporting a number of statutory duties within the Statutory Assessment and Review Service working across the 0-25 year age range.
Salary will be pro rata to the number of hours worked.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?You will need to be highly literate with an excellent standard of English and well developed writing skills. An excellent communicator, able to prioritise work streams in a busy environment, able to work collaboratively with a range or stakeholders including families, children, young people, schools, colleges, health and social care.
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, person-centred professional. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate valuable experience of working in a similar role where you have shown you have demonstrated your commitment to children and young people with additional needs. You will have a good understanding of the 2014 SEND Reforms and the educational landscape.
