We are currently looking for a Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team at the University of Twente campus in Enschede, Netherlands!
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will engage students through both lectures and interactive seminars, approximately dedicating half your time to teaching. You will lead large group lectures while facilitating smaller classes of 25-30 students for a more personalised learning experience. Your responsibilities include creating stimulating content for project courses, guiding and assessing students, as well as participating in collaborative standardisation sessions with your colleagues to ensure constructive and precise grading. Administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and student progress reports will also be part of your role, as well as providing one-on-one support to enhance students' skills.
Hours of Work: 24 hours a week, with the potential for additional hours!
Mathematics Teacher Requirements:
* Enthusiastic personality, independent, communicative, organised.
* Teaching experience.
* Masters degree or higher.
* Good organisational and IT skills.
* Eligible to work in The Netherlands.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of educational practices in the Netherlands.
* A recognised relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching multi-national student groups.
* Experience in using Moodle or other online educational portals.
* Living in or nearby Enschede, allowing you to commute to Enschede on a daily or close to daily basis.
