A local premium care home is now seeking a proactive Head of Maintenance to join the team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the residence.

As Head of Maintenance, you can expect plenty of variety. You'll lead the team in carrying out all kinds of general maintenance and repairs within the care home building itself as well as in the gardens and grounds, from fixing leaky taps one minute to planting new flower beds the next.
You should be comfortable working alone, leading a team, supporting budget planning, and liaising with external contractors for jobs that fall outside your team's expertise for this role.
This is a permanent , full-time position for a Head of Maintenance.
Person specification:
* ( Essential ) Full, clean UK driving licence
* ( Essential ) Hands-on experience in a relevant maintenance role, e.g. property maintenance
* ( Desirable ) At least 1 trade skill
* ( Desirable ) Previous experience of maintenance within a care home or similar setting
