Location: DFS Lincoln House FactoryWimsey Way, Somercotes, Alfreton DE55 4LS
Hours: Full Time. 39 hours per week.
Shifts: This role will operate over two alternating shifts. The morning shift - Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm and the afternoon shift - Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 12.20am.
You will be paid an initial training rate of £14 per hour until you are up to speed, you will then be paid piecework (so you will be rewarded for the more you make) On target earnings of £16.00 - £18 per hour.

What you'll be doingWe're looking for a Fabric Cutter to join our fast paced manufacturing team at our Lincoln House manufacturing site, on a permanent basis. A Fabric Cutter is a role to start building a rewarding career and making yourself at DFS. You will learn the processes of cutting fabric as part of the Upholstery manufacturing process building your ability and knowledge of using our Lectra cutting machines along the way.
While previous experience in a similar role is desirable, it is not required, just a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn.
The role is for you if...Knowledge of the upholstery manufacturing process would be beneficial but not essential, but the ability and drive to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment is definitely required.
