Exciting Opportunity at cardfactory: Join Our Business Development Team as an Allocator! Are you ready to play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch customer service at cardfactory? We are looking for an Allocator to join our Business Development team at Junction 41 in Wakefield. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demands effectively. As an Allocator, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development team to strategize and implement inventory plans at the sku/store level. Your efforts will contribute to the successful execution of joint business plans by meeting stock availability targets. Working hand in hand with our partnerships team, you will ensure daily stock availability while also assisting in allocating stock for seasonal events and new store openings. This entry-level position requires individuals with strong IT skills, a task-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and a methodical approach. If you possess knowledge or hands-on experience in stock merchandise or product transactions, it\'s a definite plus. Manage customer stock at product/store level Deliver store/product forecast accuracy improvements that can influence stock buys and markdown activities, delivering continuous improvement Generate weekly reporting to support the Merchandise and Accounts team to track availability / delivery and operational costs. Support the Assistant Merchandiser and Supply Chain Team to plan customer picking and delivery schedules Review future sales demand at store level to maximise availability in store and minimise stock write off Ensure on time delivery of new range launches and all event activity, tracking deliveries and reporting on launch availability in customer stores Ensure system integrity by maintaining correct customer stock records, stock adjustments are processed and accurate Support the Assistant Merchandiser with period stock counts Responsible for the production and accountable for the accuracy of customer paperwork to support stock deliveries Knowledgeable IT Skills on Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel Be self-driven and have the ability to work autonomously Good communication, both written and verbal Experience in a similar role or with allocations / supply chain systems would be advantageous Methodical with a good eye for detail
