Dean Close Foundation are looking to appoint an Employee Relations (ER) specialist to join our dynamic HR team in Cheltenham providing expert guidance and strategic support across our schools and nurseries.You'll handle complex employee relations matters, coach managers, and ensure compliance with employment law, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees offering expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and change management. Other roles and responsibilities include: Employee Relations Expertise and Support Ensure HR policies and practices are in full compliance with the latest employment laws. Strategic HR Support to the Foundation leaders. Managing grievances and disciplinary actions Conflict resolution and management Develop and conduct training for managers and employees on employee relations topics Partner with managers to develop performance management processes Support the organisation through periods of change Analyse HR metrics, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and engagement scoresThe successful candidate would ideally be CIPD qualified and or has experience in working within a HR department as an ER specialist or on a variety of ER matters.
