We are looking for an individual based within Holland or Belgium with proven Scouting & Recruitment experience, to join our Liverpool FC team as a Regional Scout.In this role, you will ensure that LFC are always at the forefront of identifying potential targets in both the senior and global talent spaces.You will be responsible for live and video player appraisal to complete in-depth technical scouting reports, collation of relevant player information, analysis of market insights and trends, on top of maintaining relationships with key agents and contacts. What will you be doing?In-depth analysis of players in order to provide definitive shortlists of targets for potential recruitment at Liverpool Football ClubAttend and observe key live fixtures as directed by the scouting leadership teamCreate comprehensive scouting reports on target players (from both video and live scouting)Establish and maintain key connections with football specific contacts and agents in Holland and BelgiumProvide market insights into relevant transfer business, trends and opportunities relating to the Dutch and Belgian regionsWork closely with the analysis team to maintain an up-to-date video database on focus playersWho are we looking for?To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of Scouting and Recruitment at an elite club, with a focus on the Dutch and Belgian markets. You would, ideally, hold the FA Talent ID Level 3 (or similar education) or above.Along with holding a wide network of relevant contacts, you will also have an understanding of the best talents currently in Holland and Belgium, along with key financial trends.You will have in-depth expertise and experience in identifying talent with the ability to provide thorough technical analysis on players of varying ages. You will be experienced in creating video playlists using scouting platforms (WyScout, EyeBall).You’ll be highly organised and proactive to organise demanding fixture schedules. You will be adaptable and flexible to work within a rapidly changing environment. Having a positive mindset, you work well independently and as part of a team.Due to the nature of the role, you must have the right to live and work in Holland and Belgium and be able to work flexibly across the week including evenings & weekends.As there is a requirement to attend live matches, you must have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
