Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a engineering company specialising in instrumentation and control systems across highly regulated industries to recruit an EC and I Engineer for its Bridgewater office.
The EC and I Design Engineer will play an integral part of the design team, working on some of the largest projects in the UK, and comes with a salary between �30,000 - �40,000, 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), and a variety of additional benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will:
* Produce designs including block cable diagrams, single line diagrams, wiring schematics and general arrangement drawings utilising AutoCAD.
* Attend client and sub-contractor meetings.
* Ability to select correct EC&I equipment.
* Produce equipment schedule for instrumentation and electrical.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Several years experience designing EC&I systems and associated electrical equipment.
* Understanding and ability to work to BS 7671.
