Development Scientist

About this role
Industry experience is a must in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry , and is key to our growing business, with previous experience in a scientific development environment, you are the ideal candidate to join our team of motivated and skilled Development Scientists at Broughton.
In this role you will be a key player in ensuring the development, validation and on-time-delivery of high-quality methodologies and results our clients need to drive their products to market.
Key tasks and responsibilities ( but not limited to)
* Establish validation protocols , working closely with Quality teams ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality requirements to produce robust, reliable methodologies and contributing to regulatory submissions.
* Provide expert guidance on scientific development and validation strategies , ensuring alignment with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
You will need to:
* Demonstrate 2+ years' experience within the field of Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry within a regulated environment
* Demonstrate 2+ years' experience within the field of Analytical Chemistry, demonstrated through publications, projects or industry collaborations
