Finance Contractor – Qualified   

Salary £350.00 to £400.00 per day    

Day Rate – 3 to 6 months

Remote or Hybrid Working

Here at Saga, we urgently require the skills and expertise of a seasoned Finance Contractor to start immediately! You will be assisting our central corporate finance function with an array of high-level finance projects plus corporate financial reporting and processing.

We need you to adapt quickly to our finance systems and demands from our business units across, cruise, insurance and travel. On top of this we are currently going through some exciting change programmes; new system implementation (workday) and a partnership deal. Therefore, you will need to be fully qualified and have a proven track record of jumping straight into a busy demanding contract role.

As our Finance Contractor you will be supporting our Group Financial Controller and Group Heads of Financial Reporting & Control and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Your work will be allocated accordingly to your time span of the contract, covering various tasks, projects and month end/year end accounting.   

We typically work in a hybrid way at Saga both at home and in the office. Joining us a contractor we are open to you working remotely from home. You will need to based in the UK and registered as a contractor.    
Main ResponsibilitiesThe full scope of works and length of contract will be discussed and agreed via a consultancy agreement.

The Ideal CandidateYou will have previously worked as a finance contractor. (outside IR35)

You will also need to demonstrate the following skills and experience.


Hold a full finance accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Have worked in corporate financial controls and reporting teams and /or FP&A teams.
Can quickly adapt to complex business models.
Able to take instructions and pick up project work.
Can demonstrate excellent communication skills and would comfortably navigate a large corporate business structure across a mix of industry regulations and ways of reporting.
Be IT literate. An expert on excel and financial reporting systems.

Has previously been involved with new system implementation. (Ideally Workday.)
