As a Mobile Plant Operator, you will play a critical role in achieving our daily operational performance while ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and company policies. You will be responsible for the safe operation of mobile and processing plant machinery, conducting thorough pre-start checks, and undertaking routine maintenance. Your proactive approach to health and safety will help maintain a secure environment for everyone on site. You will also perform visual inspections on inbound loads, ensuring they meet our stringent Material Acceptance Criteria, and engage with management to identify areas for continuous improvement. Finally, you will have the opportunity to occasionally operate the weighbridge and assist in record-keeping efforts.
Hours of Work: This is a permanent position working 48 hours per week plus overtime, between the hours of:
* Monday to Friday 0700 - 1700
* Saturday 0700 - 1200
Mobile Plant Operator Requirements:
* Experience operating mobile plant machinery
* Full UK Drivers licence
* Mobile plant operator certificate for wheeled loading shovel and 360 grab
* Excellent timekeeping, self-discipline, and a strong work ethic
* Good communication skills and practical problem-solving abilities
