We are currently looking for a Biology Lecturer, Environmental Awareness Lecturer, Physics Lecturer & Academic Lead for Science and Engineering to join our busy team at The College, Swansea University.
Hours of Work: On site, Fixed Term, Flexible hours for two semesters, from January - August 2025.
Salary: �42 - �45 per teaching hour, depending on experience
As a vital member of our academic team, you will develop and deliver engaging classes across Physics, Biology, and Environmental Awareness. Your responsibilities will include creating inclusive and accessible course materials, employing interactive teaching techniques, and providing invaluable academic support through tutorials and workshops. You will also participate in course administration tasks, ensuring smooth updates and quality assurance across programmes, igniting students' passion for scientific inquiry while adhering to academic integrity.
Biology Lecturer, Environmental Awareness Lecturer, Physics Lecturer & Academic Lead for Science and Engineering Requirements:
* Recent teaching experience in relevant scientific disciplines.
* Proven experience in delivering lessons at FE/HE levels.
* Strong skills in developing teaching materials and moderating assessments.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teams.
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area; a teaching qualification is advantageous.
