A national leader in patient insight and clinical homecare services is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN Adult) with chemotherapy experience to join them as a Community Chemotherapy Nurse , delivering at-home treatments that support optimal outcomes for local people living with cancer.
Through personalised hands-on healthcare and innovative digital solutions, this organisation provides life-changing medication therapies and patient support programmes for people with a chronic, oncological or rare condition - delivering specialist practical, emotional and clinical support at home for maximum comfort and minimal stress.
As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse , you'll be providing excellent, person-centred nursing care for people who require haematological or solid tumour chemotherapy treatment in their own home. You will administer systemic anti-cancer treatment (SACT), educate, advise and support patients and their carers regarding their personal treatment plan, and build lasting relationships that aide in engagement and recovery.
You will be based in Chelmsford and travel across the region to deliver chemotherapy at patients' homes. The ability to drive a car is therefore essential; your travel costs will be subsidised through a car allowance or company car.
This is a permanent role for a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, ideally full-time (37.5h) but part-time also considered (22.5h / 30h).
Person specification :
* ( Essential ) Registered with the NMC as a Registered Nurse (RN Adult)
* ( Essential ) Full UK driving licence
* ( Essential ) SACT passport
* ( Essential ) Experienced in IV cannulation and in undertaking clinical assessments
