Machine Tool Engineer & Electrician - What does the job involve?
The main purpose of the position is to maintain all manufacturing plant, equipment and facilities in good working order. Improve equipment reliability by increasing the mean time between failure (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR). The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives.
Hours of work: Day Shift - 39 hours per week, usually working, Monday to Thursday 6.45am to 3.30pm and Friday 7.00am to 1.00pm with 30-minute break for lunch.
Machine Tool Engineer & Electrician - What will my responsibilities include?'
* Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
* Perform diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility's equipment.
* Fitting new parts and carrying out quality/performance inspections thereafter.
* Fixing faults or making recommendations for replacements across Senior/LPE's machine tools.
* Plan / prioritize workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
* Keeping Manufacturing Team informed of progress during breakdown, Plant Maintenance.
