We are looking for an Assurance Services Manager to join our successful Energy Intensive team. This is a Home Based role. Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Assurance Services Manager is responsible for managing a high level of customer satisfaction, through accurate and effective service delivery. A key objective of this role is to ensure that the highest level of service is provided to clients, while efficiently managing a team of analysts and assistants. People and culture are an essential aspect of this role. The Assurance Services Manager will support and develop the team to ensure they are motivated and productive, which will result in excellent customer service.The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Lead and nurture a team of Assurance Services Analysts to ensure the service is effective and consistent, thereby ensuring client retention levels are high and income protection is secure.Continually monitor and evaluate business services, systems and processes, with a view to recommend improvements consistent with a growing division and business.Liaise with colleagues to ensure that expectations are clear and understood, so that a first class service is provided to the client.Effectively manage staff and deal with day-to-day personnel issues.Efficiently manage a team of Assurance Services Analysts, timetabling of staff including holidays and sick cover ensuring adequate cover for the team.Ensure that effective communication is maintained by staff at all times, including leading regular team meetings, keeping staff informed of all internal and external developments and activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on their role or the company.Monitor staff performance, development and training needs.Liaise with HR and Management in relation to team development needs, salary/bonus reviews and personal circumstances.Prioritise work to ensure client service levels are met.Maintain database information accurately.Obtain invoices and data in a timely manner in readiness for client reports.Estate management.Sales processing on the CRM.Pricing and tendering.Ensure emails and reports are filed as necessary.Reviewing admin processes and propose ideas for improvement.Understand and adhere to operational processes and procedures.Ensure data completeness for client portfolios.Liaise with colleagues and suppliers to ensure CRM system is maintained accurately.Liaise with suppliers to obtain information and resolve queries.Generate reports to help manage your team and individual client workload.Manage exception reporting for the teams clients, ensuring all data is complete.Build effective relationships with suppliers to ensure queries are dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.Report any complaint following the agreed internal process.Support the wider needs of the division and business as and when reasonably required.Read and comply with the company Health & Safety Policy; taking reasonable care for the Health & Safety of themselves and others; co-operate with managers and other employees in fulfilling our objectives and statutory duties.Experience and QualificationsEssential:           Good knowledge of the energy industryExperience in a similar analytical roleA good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel essential)Experience of working in the energy/utility industry and knowledge of supplier processesAbility to delegate to empower employees, helping them to reach personal and professional goalsStrong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills and familiar with working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentComputer literate with strong MS Office (particularly excel), MS Outlook, Bill Validation systems and CRM systemsPositive and professional with the ability to lead by exampleAbility to identify client needs, build rapport and deliver service excellence.Encourage a collaborative approach across multiple departmentsAbility to adapt to changing client needs and circumstancesDesirable: Higher level of qualification relevant to the position, educated to a degree level or qualified through experience.Experience of managing teamsWhat we offerTraining and development opportunitiesCompany pensionFlexible work hoursSharesave schemeLife insurance4pm finish on FridayAccess to a wide range of voluntary benefits through our Inspired Benefits PortalIf you are interested in the role and would like to be considered, please apply now and a member of our In House Recruitment Team will be in touch.
