We are looking for a driven and passionate team player to join Manchester Metropolitan University International College as our Student Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator.
Manchester Metropolitan University International College is part of Navitas, a leading education provider that connects students and educators across the globe. We work in partnership with Manchester Metropolitan University to deliver Foundation, International Year One and Pre-Masters pathways to international students.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with experience working within international education and/or marketing. You will thrive from working in a busy environment, and your excellent organisation skills will allow you to work on multiple projects at a time.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Admissions, you will work closely with Navitas in-country teams, and our University Partner to deliver on student recruitment and conversion targets. You will gain an expert knowledge of the International College and use your exceptional customer service skills to communicate with prospective students and education agents. Upon identifying and understanding the key selling points for our target markets, you will support students throughout their application journey and help to plan and deliver impactful marketing and recruitment campaigns.
Principal Accountabilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with Navitas in-country offices and key agents, managing relevant communications and providing product knowledge training
* Work with Navitas in-country teams to develop and deliver student recruitment and marketing plans
* Manage and ensure complete, accurate and regular reporting of student application data
* Lead on hosting external visits at the International College such as agent familiarisation trips
* Develop and deliver engaging presentations in-person and online
* Work closely with the University Partner and divisional marketing colleagues to regularly review and develop marketing content and materials
* Work closely with the University Partner to recruit and train international student ambassadors and recruitment colleagues
* Lead on the development and delivery of conversion communication, activities and events
* Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
* Work closely with the International College Admissions team to track recruitment and conversion priorities
* Undertake other activities as may be reasonably required to support college success
Essential Criteria:
* Degree level study
* Experience working in international student recruitment and/or marketing
* Proven ability to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of marketing and sales activities
* Experience in and proven ability to deliver impactful student conversion activity
* Experience developing marketing content and communications
* An excellent ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals and groups at all levels
* Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to adapt tone and messaging effectively
* Ability to present to an audience in an enthusiastic and professional manner in-person and online
* Good relationship building skills and experience delivering exceptional customer service
* Proven ability to use own initia
