Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will:
• Lead mechanical tasks and support electrical maintenance where required.
• Resolve breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Perform planned maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, balers, compactors, and shredders.
• Participate in annual shutdowns and assist across multiple sites as needed.
• Mentor and support apprentices in their career development.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
• NVQ Level 3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 18th Edition qualification or willingness to complete within three months of joining.
• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
