We are looking for a Circularity Coordinator to support our Regional Planning Managers in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. In this role, the location is flexible across our various sites as you will be playing a key part in managing customer orders, maintaining relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, all while supporting the delivery of our Circularity Strategy. 
Main Responsibilities

Administration: Accurately input customer orders into our system and manage procurement processes for the national business. Raise POs and handle supplier communications. 


Customer Service Excellence: Handle incoming calls and emails, proactively chasing jobs and addressing customer queries. Keep customers informed about order progress, delays, or site closures. 


Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Regional Planning Managers to manage approved jobs and maintain customer relationships. Partner with distribution and operations teams to meet customer requirements and build relationships with internal and external hauliers. 


Commercial Focus: Establish forecast volumes at the first point of order, pursue new business opportunities, and conduct B2C calls to generate sales. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and ensure satisfaction. 


Compliance: Ensure that waste acceptance processes are followed in accordance with Tarmac’s procedures and external legislation. Monitor landfill tonnages and achieve required KPIs while ensuring compliance with all relevant policies.

Strong organisational and planning skills 


Effective time management and prioritisztion abilities 


Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work independently 


Strong written and verbal communication skills 


A customer-focused mindset and the ability to build strong relationships 


Confident in conflict resolution and active listening 


Proven experience in a customer-focused environment (ideally within the construction or materials sector) 


Proven administrative experience, with strong attention to detail 


Experience working with KPIs and achieving operational targets 


Knowledge of waste management practices and relevant legislation is an advantage
