An opportunity is available for a Team Support within the Commercial Enablement team, based at our depot in Exeter.
You will offer general administrative support to the Commercial team, supporting with commercial projects and the co-ordination of team activities. You will also be responsible for the control of finance within the team.
This is a busy and diverse role that will also see you interacting with various stakeholders including colleagues, customers and contractors. You might be producing and monitoring supply chain plans, issuing work instructions, processing invoices or making travel arrangements. Every day is different in this role, you’ll be relied on by many people and you’ll often be working to tight timescales.
So you’ll need to be a good communicator who thrives in a busy environment and can bring excellent organisational skills. Representing the company to customers and our partners, working at the heart of a small team also requires lots of initiative and a proactive approach. You will have good general computer skills however you’ll get full training on all our systems and applications.
You will need English and Maths GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2 or above to apply. Evidence of your qualifications will be required prior to appointment.

Main Responsibilities
Production, updating and monitoring of supply chain plans for centrally managed works.
Interaction with contractors and supply chain partners to support resolution of issues.
Develop and issue of Work Instructions for centrally managed works.
Creation, maintenance and monitoring of project finances and budgets for centrally managed works.
Creation and maintenance of commercial process and policy documentation.
Resolve customer queries directly, wherever possible.
Processing of invoices for approval and payment associated particularly with fees from external suppliers and agents and contract staff working for the team.
Administrative support to team including travel, accommodation and other arrangements.
Identify opportunities for improvement in performance and implement or recommend change.
Identify and request physical resources to improve individual or team performance.
The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will need to be reliable, well organised and able to work as part of a small team. You must be able to work using your own initiative and have experience of Microsoft Office, although full training will be given on all applications used. Some financial experience would be beneficial.
You should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and represent the Company positively at all times.
