Here at Saga, we are looking for a Senior Marketing & Trading Analyst. The role will partner the marketing & trading teams, developing analysis and analytical financial models to enhance decision making across various marketing & trading activities in the acquisition and retention of customers. The individual will work to develop marketing insights using statistical, mathematical/predictive models to gain insights into customer propensity to purchase, unsubscribe, cancel, or churn and model impact of pricing decisions.
The role holder will lead all activities to create, define and implement frameworks for measuring, reporting, analysing, and benchmarking marketing & trading results to enhance decision making. The Senior Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including trading, marketing, and finance, to optimize trading performance and ensure alignment with our overall business objectives.

Main Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing activity, pricing movements, and trading volumes to inform strategic decisions.
Working closely with stakeholders to test and optimise marketing activity across Performance Marketing (Pay Per Click, Affiliates, etc.), Brand Marketing and CRM.
Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, including online and offline campaigns. Analyse sales funnels, customer intent and track email campaign metrics.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies and optimize campaigns across digital, print, and direct marketing channels.
Provide comprehensive reports on marketing costs and revenue, build dashboards for stakeholders to track marketing activities and return on investment.
Conduct analysis to create customer profiles and segmentations, use analytics to identify key customer groups to target for revenue maximization.
Translating data into action-oriented insight to deliver a clear story to stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
A marketing & trading analytics background with experience in data analytics, statistical analysis, and modelling/forecasting experience, applied to deliver marketing insights
Experience in developing and implementing audience segmentation strategies, LTV (lifetime value) analysis, and cohort performance analytics.
Proven experience working with marketing tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and other tracking/performance monitoring tools to inform marketing strategies.
Some experience in using data management, BI (SQL Server, Power BI) to manipulate data and produce analysis from digital data sources.
Ability to simplify complex problems into understandable reports for marketing & trading leaders and other functions; ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations.
Commercially strong with the ability to digest significant amounts of data and articulate cause and impact of decisions
Good stakeholder management experience
Proven background in Marketing/Customer Analytics/trading analysis
Time management and prioritization
Work in sprint cycles, adhering to Agile principles
