IT Support Engineer with 3-4 years of experience needed for a NASDAQ listed global wealth management and alternatives manager in Victoria on a temp to perm basis.
You will be responsible for supporting a team of traders, C-Suite and end-users. Along with desktop support requirements, you will be expected to understand security fundamentals and the specific group requirements and ensuring these are met, occasional project work for example implementing imaging solution, office setups, designing scripts for software updates etc.
You will also be responsible for reviewing and managing support requests which are received with the ability to recognise appropriate tickets for their role, this will include new user creation, admin requests for reports etc.
While there may be flexibility in occasionally WFH, this is an on-site position.
What you bring:
* Proven experience supporting a financial services firm
* Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 technologies, multiple video card configurations and group policies, Intune scripts and imaging technologies.
* Proven understanding of computer peripherals, multiple monitors configurations and accessories.
* Proven understanding of Azure Active Directory, replication and other cloud technologies.
* Proven understanding of firewall, network and WiFi technology, configuration and troubleshooting.
* Solid understanding of VoIP technology.
Initially, you will work on an temporary contract (Inside IR35) with a daily rate of �200 per day for a period of 4-6 months before conversion.
