Responsibilities and duties
As a Commercial Lead you will:
* Develop, implement, and maintain commercial and procurement processes.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial targets.
* Lead contract negotiations and support bidding processes to manage risks.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term success.
* Provide financial oversight and report on project progress.
* Train and mentor the commercial team, ensuring they are prepared for future projects.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Degree in a relevant field. I.e. Business management, Construction or engineering degree.
* Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager role, handling multi-million-pound, multi-year contracts.
* Strong knowledge of contract terms (e.g., NEC/FIDIC) and construction regulations.
* Skilled in corporate finance, stakeholder management, and complex negotiations.
* Leadership experience, including team management and development.
* CIPS/ICM accreditation.
