Working as a Stock Controller your primary responsibilities will include monitoring stock levels, minimising shortages, and improving equipment availability across the region. You'll play a crucial role in coordinating logistics, supporting the Hire Desks nationally, and ensuring inter-depot transfers are managed efficiently and economically.You will strive to ensure all stock movements are undertaken in the most cost effective manner working closely with all members of the Hire Desk, Operations & Sales teams.Key ResponsibilitiesEfficiently communicate transport movements to all relevant stakeholders.Serve as the primary point of contact for Hire Controllers and Operations Teams within the designated region who require equipment.Coordinate logistics to maximise operational efficiency and customer satisfactionImplement cost control measures by identifying and implementing efficiencies.Strive to identify order shortages within the region, using external resources only when stock and transport levels are within acceptable parameters.Monitor stock levels across all depots in the region to ensure appropriate equipment availability aligned with business needs.
