adi Lean Manufacturing and Design Mechanical Fitter
About the Role
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will work with the current engineering team in bespoke machinery build and development. This will include in-house product assembly & modifications, commissioning, product development and site installations.
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
* Mechanical aluminium extrusion frame assembly.
* Interpretation of mechanical drawings for constructions of machines.
* Mechanical construction of machinery tools and measuring and validation of assembly.
* Rework of tooling parts, using milling machine, lathes and workshop tools.
* Pneumatics and sensors installation of all machine tools.
* Assembly of robot grippers and installation of robot tooling.
* Assembly and fitting of production machines.
* Commissioning / Development of machines alongside the software / electrical engineer.
* Identifying points of failure on all tooling and machine assemblies.
About you
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Good time keeping and the ability to self-manage tasks in line with a build program.
* Experience in a similar role within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment.
* Mechanical fitting and assembly experience.
* Understanding of Engineering drawings.
* Experience using of all types of machinery.
* Mechanical assembly work experience.
