As part of our continuing growth and development we are now seeking to establish a Head of Referrals to lead on referral management, assessment and service commissioning covering a national portfolio.
In partnership with the local operational teams, the Regional Head of Referrals (RHR) will lead on the generation of referrals and working closely with the Regional Operations Manager, prioritise activity to minimise void risk and support the achievement of occupancy and financial budgets.
The RHR will take the lead on the assessment and placement process, engaging local operational managers in joint assessments or delegating the task in order to manage resource pressures and priorities. The RHR will retain accountability for the quality of assessment and proposals and ensure all activity maintains a minimum agreed standard and is ‘signed off’ prior to submission to commissioning authorities.
The Regional Head of Referrals will be responsible for the promotion of NCG and its services across a variety of customer needs as well as accommodation and support models
Where requested by the Commercial Director, the Regional Head of Referrals will also project manage the commissioning process for new services and properties. Ensuring they are ‘operationally’ prepared to support the assessed needs of individuals referred.
The post will support the marketing of specific services and attending exhibitions and other promotional activities.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
A strong communicator, committed to improving lives and able to demonstrate the values we share as an organisation, you will have experience in the assessment of need and provision of support services alongside a knowledge of Commissioning and funding process within Local Authorities and NHS Organisations. You will also have:
Experience within the management of or Commissioning of support services.
Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams
Supported individuals with social care needs
Able and willing to travel and work across multiple sites
In addition, the candidate will be able to demonstrate history of:
Conducting complex assessments
Negotiating support packages
Working collaboratively
Developing partnerships and managing professional relationships
Working remotely and as part of dispersed management team
Innovation in support package design
