Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Clinical Pharmacist with experience in Renal Wards to join a well-established healthcare team in East London/Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients on the renal wards within a busy hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients on renal wards
* Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
* Review and dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all clinical guidelines
* Advise on the safe and effective use of medications
* Support renal team in managing patient drug regimens
* Perform clinical checks, counselling, and education for patients
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of medication-related activities
Requirements:
* Hospital Experience is essential
* Recent experience working in renal care or a similar specialty is highly desirable
* Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
* Experience working Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm shifts
