Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence.The service you will work in….Coxley House, is a CQC registered care home for men and women aged 18-65. The service supports those with enduring mental health needs who require support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The home has a capacity of 13 service users. Each service user has a private s with self-contained bedroom and small kitchenette, with access to communal areas and shared facilities. Hestia's Registered Care Homes provide a safe and supportive homes in a community setting for people with long term mental health needs. At our Care Homes, the aim of our work is to enable service users to manage their own lives with maximum independence and choice and that they are able to develop their personal skills to step down to more independent living. Our service users recover, flourish and actively maintain their wellbeing through empowerment and recovery focused practices. ​ The Team Leader will contribute to the day to day running of the home alongside the Team Manager and carry out H&S, quality and compliance checks in order to ensure we maintain a high quality service. The postholder will be actively involved in coordinating the care and support with service users, by ensuring that we focus on their stre
ngths, assets, resilience and aspirations.A day in this role looks like….As a Team Leader at Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Coxley House Registered care home. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:To support the Team Manager in the day to day running of the Registered Care Home within the regulations of the CQC. ​To support the Support Workers to achieve the agreed standards of service delivery in the relevant element, in compliance with relevant legislation, external governance, contract requirements and Hestia policies and procedures.​Lead on the implementation of the co-production strategy in the Care Home​To ensure a healthy and safe environment for employees, service users, visiting professionals and other visitors by ensuring service delivery is in line with organisational procedures and H&S Legislation in each element. ​To engage in planning, negotiating and managing the service budgets ​To contribute to effective line management of Support Workers and Waking Night Workers (where appropriate)​To ensure the service meets the staffing requirements for the service through recruitment and induction of new staff, volunteers and students.​Model the behavior expected of staff including person centered support, reflective practice, coproduction, recovery and other psychologically informed approaches.​Why Hestia?Joining Hestia means more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be part of something bigger. To excel in this role, you should possess:Experience of working in accommodation-based support services for people with mental health and complex needs, and a strong understanding of Recovery approaches and co-production incl. knowledge of issues affecting those individuals .​Ability to develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders; service users, family, placement officers and a range of statutory, community and voluntary partners. ​Knowledge of methods of assessing, formulating, implementing, recording, reviewing and auditing service users' support and safety assessment plans​Good knowledge of MS Office systems, able to use computer systems including case management systems to create accurate reports and able to assess and audit staff ability to use computer systems to record client data accurately and to a high standard.​Good knowledge of issues related to signs, symptoms and treatments of mental illness. ​Good knowledge of CQC Standards and requirements.​Experience of undertaking assessments, formulating plans of care, and recording and reviewing service users' support and safety plans.​Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues and ability to address them appropriately. ​Excellent level of spoken and written English​Ability to work flexibly as part of a 24hr rota system.Our commitment to Equality, Diversity, and InclusionOur services users come from all walks of life and so do we.
