About The Company
Beaumont College in Sussex is located on the well regarded Ingfield Manor School site. Developed in partnership, the specialist post 19 College setting is intended to support some of the most vulnerable special school leavers in their journey towards busy and fulfilling lives as adults.
Both Ingfield Manor School and Beaumont College are part of Salutem Care and Education. Sharing the site isn't all that we do together. Most of our students rely on the specialist health, allied health and some access positive behavior supports, so as a College Support Worker you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students who have long term health conditions, which are commonly complex. Most students are supported around mobility and may well be wheelchair users.
You will be values driven, and have an affinity with our students as young adults. They live with disability, and the care and support they rely on must be provided by others, and always with dignity and respect and with their consent and agreement. You will be trained and supported to reach the expected standards, and our learners will be able to communicate with you about their needs and preferences in their preferred way.
If you would like to be part of a person centered team, who seek ways to go beyond what others believe is possible for our young people, we would welcome your application.
