We are currently looking for a Machine Setter at our Swains Park plant in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The site is easily accessible from Coalville, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock, Rugeley, Stafford, Burton Upon Trent, Derby, Castle Donnington, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Solihull and the surrounding areas.

Please not that this position requires you to work on a shift pattern of 6am -2pm, 2pm -10pm or 10pm -6am.
Main ResponsibilitiesAs the successful Machine Setter, you will be part of the site production team; collaborating with the team to ensure the machinery is set and in optimum condition in order to meet monthly production targets.
On a day to day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Machine Setter will include (not exhaustive):
Providing resolutions to breakdowns
Producing quality specialist cementitious products to a production gold standard in accordance with customer specifications
Completing all daily machinery standard checks
Ensuring all documentation is completed relating to safety, performance, availability and quality requirements
Taking responsibility for all machine specific OLM Schedules including recording and reporting aligned to best in class performance as per skills matrix
Supporting Mobile Fitting teams in fault diagnosis, repairs and planned maintenance activities
Setting up and operating automated machines in accordance with production requirements on-site
Being responsible for critical spares, inventory management and on-shelf availability
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal Machine Setter will be someone who can demonstrate previous experience working in the same or similar position and can show a sound maintenance knowledge gained within a fast-paced production environment.
You will be someone who is willing to work to production targets, have a keen eye for quality control and are able to comply with Health and Safety regulations.
