The Role
You will be responsible for the setting of press tool machinery, ensuring that it is safely and efficiently set in accordance with production schedules.

Main Responsibilities
* Set tools for power press machinery.
* Switch off the machines at the end of the shift.
* Check the product quality.All products must be inspected 1 in 25 for scratches, dents, debris marks, pain defects, curl backs, mis-fed sharp edges.A first off sample must be visible and signed for before machine can be operated.
* Report any concerns to the Product Engineer.
* Remove scrap from trimming tools, leave machine and the work area in a safe, clean and tidy state.
* Any oil spillages must be cleaned up and disposed of using soiled oil mats and putting in correct area.
* Adhere to equipment safety procedure and all safe systems of work.
* Adhere to mandatory PPE requirements at all time, this includes boots gloves and earplugs this list is not exhaustive.
* All legitimate requests made by management.
* All tools must be stored in their correct areas safely and any amendments to the settings of the tools must be updated.

The Candidate
* Experience of setting manual and automatic press machines.
* To be able to follow instructions and production specifications.
* To be able to work quickly and steadily on repetitive tasks.
* Pay attention to detail.
* Good practical skills.
* A willingness to work flexibly.
* Be safety conscious.
