Your new role…As part of our dynamic Digital Product/ UX team, this role is focused on delivering projects, fixes and initiatives on the Sofology websites that will support the digital strategy and vision.Working to support UX designers and reporting into our Senior Online Product Manager, you’ll collaborate with the wider web team, IT and other departments across the business to deliver the best possible experience to our customers.You’ll gather and understand the research, document requirements, coordinate digital initiatives and test fixes and developments that will enhance our customer’s Omnichannel shopping experiences.To do this you’ll need to be self-motivated, thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate extraordinary attention to detail with a ‘can do’ attitude.A day in the life of… A Digital Projects Assistant…Coordinate a stream of website development projects providing status updates, working proactively to ensure tasks and updates are completed on time Raise development tickets in project tracking software, Jira, document development requirements in user story formatTesting website development initiatives, flagging issues and proactively working across teams to resolveAssist in setting up usability tests and documenting feedback/ analysis to feed into developmentsRegularly review competitors & explore new ideas on how to improve the online customer journeyBecome a product expert, in order to answer queries and be a point of contact across the business for raising & investigating site issues to resolutionProvide regular status update reportsAd hoc/ admin responsibilitiesIn an ideal world…You will have the following experience…This role would suit someone who has experience of, or has skills suited to a digital projects, product or UX roleCalm, well organised with a problem solving approachAbility to build strong relationships across the business and communicate clearly and confidentlyInquisitive and able to capture questions to gain relevant information needed to make development a successKnowledge of e-commerce practices and technical skills advantageousExperience of project briefing and tracking software advantageous eg.
