Location: NHS Hospital, North London
Salary: �23-27 per hour
Contract: 6-12 month contract
Hours: 9am - 5:30pm, 30 minute break, 3 days per week
Start: November 2024 start
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Pharmacist to join our client's team at an NHS Hospital in North London. This role will be dispensary based!
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical pharmacy services to outpatients, ensuring safe and effective medication management.
* Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
* Offer advice and support to patients regarding their medications.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
* Participate in medication reconciliation and discharge planning.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with NHS standards.
Qualifications:
* Must have a valid GPhC registration.
* Previous hospital pharmacy experience is essential.
* Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
