We have partnered with a leading manufacturing and installation organisation who work across the water industry. They are looking to appoint a proven Group Head of HSEQ to be the lead and develop the strategy across their UK businesses.

The Group Head of HSEQ will be responsible for continuing to drive and develop the safety culture within the organisation, whilst maintaining their ISO management systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation, who are looking to appoint an engaging and proactive individual, to take SHEQ to the next level.

The Group Head of HSEQ will be responsible for:

* Create, develop and implement the SHEQ strategy across their UK businesses
* You will be a hands-on leader, understanding where you can make an immediate impact and what the long-term goals will be
* You will drive cultural change, bringing HSEQ and compliance to the forefront
* Coaching, managing and developing senior stakeholders will be essential, for you to drive change and enable individuals and the business to be more proactive
* Maintaining management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 & 45001
* Manage a HSEQ Advisor

The Group Head of HSEQ candidate will have experience of:

* Must have experience of working within utilities, manufacturing, installation / siteworks
* Must have experience of developing SHEQ strategies
* Must have experience maintaining management systems ISO 9001, 14001, 50001 & 45001
* Knowledge of 50001 is essential
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
* NEBOSH Environmental or IE Certificate
* Ideally a Chartered member of IOSH (or working towards)
* NEBOSH Diploma in Environmental Management / IEMA Diploma
* Proven leadership skills - the ability to engage at all levels is vital
* Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence
* Candidates will be expected to travel nationally
