Hunter Gatherer AHP are seeking two full-time locum dispensers to join an NHS run hospital service in Birmingham, in the outpatients/discharge pharmacy! If you have hospital pharmacy experience as a pharmacy dispenser, we want to hear from you!
Role Overview:
* Hours: 8 hours per day with a 30-minute lunch. Total hours of 40 hours per week
* Shifts: Mon-Fri shifts c an vary from: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
* Weekends: Saturday (9:30 AM - 5:00 PM), Sunday (10:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
* Flexibility: There is a rotational weekend schedule, but some weekends you won't need to work! Will be 1-2 weekends needed per month.
* Pay rate: Between �14 - �16 per hour via Umbrella, depending on prior experience
What We're Looking For:
* Ideally, previous hospital pharmacy experience.
* An NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services is required for this role
* Ability to flexibly rotate between different shift patterns.
* Must be adaptable and willing to work both weekdays and weekends.
* If you work weekends, you'll be entitled to 1.5 days off during the week.
* A strong, reliable team player who can fit into a busy, fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for dispensing medication in the discharge pharmacy , working as part of the outpatient team. The roles have become available due to recent resignations, so the service are looking to hire as soon as possible, seeking cover from late October 2024.
Shift Options:
* Weekdays: Shifts vary, but typically range from 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM or similar hours.
* Weekend Shifts:
* Saturday (7.5 hours, starting at 9:30 AM).
* Sunday (6 hours, 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
Note: If you're unable to work weekends, we can discuss your availability with the department to see how we they accommodate you.
Additional Information:
* Hours per week: Around 5.5 days per week.
* Contract: Full-time with potential for part-time (3-4 days) if flexible on working days.
* Duration: ASAP start! Expect a commitment of at least 1-2 months, possibly longer.
