There will be the opportunity to work from home on occasions.• You travel throughout Cumbria to visit our children and care teams regularly.Key qualities that we look for,• Substantial experience of working directly with children in a psychology or counselling capacity• You will hold a UKCP/BACP registration and a qualification in counselling, level 4 or above• You will have excellent knowledge of trauma and attachment theories, with the ability to draw on your knowledge to support the practice of our teams• You will have a good understanding of legislation and regulations surrounding residential childcare.• You will have excellent skills in safeguarding children• Ability to understand the individual needs of each child• Ability to work on your own and to tight deadlines• Excellent communication skills• Proficient skills in IT and record keeping• A full, valid, UK driving licence and access to your own transportWe are an equal opportunities employer and have a commitment to safeguarding children.
