Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will:
* Perform operational duties on the main boiler, FGT plant and turbine using DCS.
* Carry out routine testing of plant equipment and inspections when required, recording data accurately and efficiently.
* Monitor performance of plant and ensure optimal performance.
* Monitor security systems and CCTV on site.
* Provide clear and comprehensive shift handovers.
* Undergo training and development competence in line with on site safety rules.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
* Similar operational experience in Energy from Waste or other power sector.
* Experience with SCADA as a minimum, DCS highly sought after.
* Royal Navy/Marine Engineer applications welcome.
* Level 3 in relevant engineering subject as a minimum.
* Computer literate.
