We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Café Supervisor to lead our on-site café team at Exeter School. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the daily life of our vibrant school community, ensuring that our café provides high-quality service and a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors.

What you do:


Supervise the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth service and high standards of hygiene.
Lead, train, and motivate café staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
Manage stock levels, including ordering and inventory control, to minimize waste and enhance profitability.
Develop and update the café menu in collaboration with team members to incorporate seasonal ingredients and student preferences.
Maintain strong communication with school staff, students, and parents to foster a community-focused café environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.


​What you bring:


Previous experience in a supervisory role within a café or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for customer service and a friendly, approachable manner.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and school holidays as needed.

**Equated pay (sometimes known as spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months instead of just receiving pay during the months that you work and none during the school closures/non-working weeks. This means that you get paid equal amounts of pay every month. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
