We are seeking a dedicated Senior Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Saturday based at our Oldham Total Skin service.

In this vital role, you will manage administrative systems and processes, oversee colleague development, and provide essential support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of our services. Collaborating closely with the Cancer & Administration Manager and Service Manager, you'll be a key point of contact for advice and guidance within the team. 

Oldham Total Skin Service provides community dermatology services across the Oldham locality. Oldham Total skin provides Dermatology and Skin Cancer services based within Oldham Integrated Care Centre, Oldham.

Main Responsibilities
Manage team rotas, ensuring adequate administrative staffing at all times.
Lead the recruitment of admin/reception staff and support broader recruitment efforts as needed.
Develop and maintain local SOPs where national procedures do not apply.
Actively participate in team meetings, performance feedback, coaching, and training.
Use patient and stakeholder feedback to drive service improvements.
Support the Service Manager in meeting service outcome-related targets.
Assist the Service Manager with arranging and facilitating meetings, including minute-taking as needed.

The Ideal CandidateEssential:


Excellent communication and relationship skills
Administration line management experience
Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information.


Desirable:


Knowledge of EMIS (clinical database)
Previous experience working within a healthcare environment
