The specialist Speech and Language team at President Kennedy are part of the Complex Communication Team. This is a traded service that is widely respected in Coventry schools. We work closely with the pupils, their families and our colleagues in education, health and care to improve outcomes for children and young people with complex communication needs. What is the job role?We require a specialist teaching assistant to support students at the Enhanced Resource Provision at President Kennedy school. The role will involve working directly with students in the mainstream classroom; supporting with coursework, internal assessments and revision; developing the students social and emotional resilience; and running interventions for groups of students.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
