Headquartered in Woerden, they are looking for a Modern Workplace & Microsoft Engineer on a permanent basis for a big enterprise project.
*Working model is hybrid, so you can be based anywhere in the Netherlands.
Overview:
As a Modern Workplace & Microsoft Engineer you are responsible for the design, implementations and managing modern workplaces and Microsoft solutions for our customers. You play a crucial role in migrating environments to Microsoft365 and Azure, ensuring our customers can benefit from the latest technologies. You work closely with customers to ensure their workplaces are safe, efficient andto make it future-proof.
What does a day on a project look like?
* Morning: Start your day with a stand-up meeting to monitor the progress of your projects to discuss. You then work on the rollout of Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions for a customer, where you are responsible for the Azure Active Directory configuration and Mobile Device deployment Management via Intune.
* After lunch: You will participate in a strategy meeting with the customer team to discuss the next steps in a migration project. You analyze and optimizes security settings in Microsoft 365, ensuring that all devices are compliant with company standards.
* Afternoon: You'll work on automating routine tasks with PowerShell scripts and ensures that monitoring tools such as Nagios and Zabbix are properly aligned to customer needs. You also support customers in setting up PowerApps and Power Automate solutions.
* End of the day: End your day by updating documentation and planning
* of training for customers and colleagues about new features in Microsoft 365 and Azure.
Your profile
* HBO working and thinking level in Business Information Technology or comparable one course
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Deep knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and SharePoint
* Extensive experience in managing and securing modern workplaces, including the use of Mobile Device Management (Intune)
* Experience with cloud migrations and the implementation of Azure Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
* Proficient in writing PowerShell scripts for automation.
* Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
* Proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
