Fulham Pier is the heart of the community, and so are you.The RoleThe role will be dedicated to our cutting-edge private members club that blends style, innovation, and community. You will oversee all culinary operations of the Members Club, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and on-trend dishes.We offer a dynamic space where creativity and collaboration thrive, providing our members with a unique environment to network, relax, and enjoy exclusive events. Our club features state-of-the-art amenities, contemporary dining, and a vibrant social scene, catering to forward-thinking individuals and professionals. This is a brand-new opening and so it will require extra energy and dedication from the chosen individual.Main ResponsibilitiesLead a team of chefs, working closely with the Executive Head Chef to develop seasonal menus that reflect the ethos of the Members Club.Ensure efficient kitchen management, cost control, and compliance with all food safety regulations, while maintaining a focus on delivering an outstanding guest experience.Ensuring the kitchen deliver high volumes of food during peak times, maintaining the highest standards of consistency and quality.Managing food costs, waste reduction, and staff efficiency are critical to success.Responsibility for innovating and adapting the menu to ensure it remains fresh and appealing to the club's members.Lead the culinary team in preparing and serving all dishes to the highest standard, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate.Develop seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Head Chef, focusing on modern, exclusive cuisine with fresh, local ingredients.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, including allergen management.Train and mentor, the kitchen team, ensuring a focus on development, engagement, and retention.Control kitchen costs, including food costs, labour, and waste, ensuring profitability and efficiency.Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and exceptional guest experiences.Participate in menu tastings, reviews, and adjustments based on customer feedback and trends.The Ideal CandidateYou will already have held a Head Chef position at a high-end Members Club or restaurant and have a deep understanding of refined dining and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to the club's exclusive members.You will have experience in managing culinary operations in Michelin Star dining establishments, as well as extensive menu development expertise.As the leader of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations, ensuring that the highest standards of quality and creativity are consistently met, so exceptional leadership skills are essential.Additionally, you will play a key role in collaborating with the Executive Head Chef to develop innovative seasonal menus that reflect the ethos and exclusivity of the Members Club, so creatively is a must.Above all you will have the ability and desire to deliver the quality of service that will contribute to the overall atmosphere of Fulham Pier, providing an elegant and remarkable experience for all guests.You will also have:Supervising Food Safely Level 3 qualification or equivalent.IOSH Managing Safely or similar qualifications.Strong creative skills with experience in identifying target audiences.Excellent business relationship skillsCommercial minded with evidence of successfully managing costs in line with exceptional delivery.Experience of ensuring profit margins and targets are met or exceeded.A solid background in working with key stakeholders internally and externally to achieve targets.Understanding of launching and activating new hospitality spaces.Experience in financial/budget reporting and commercial understanding.Strong team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.What we offerWe offer a salary of £60,000 to £70,000 plus excellent benefits that include:15% performance related bonus£1,300 flex benefit fundWe’re experience makers and food fanatics.
