About the role:
Astute’s Renewables team is partnering with one of the most reputable sustainable energy companies in the UK and a pioneer in the sector. The company develop, construct own and operate their own renewable energy assets and we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to attend their sites in and around the south of the M25 and surrounding area which will be a mixture of EV chargers, large scale solar and battery storage assets.
The Field Service Engineer role comes with a salary of �41,000, excellent development and progression opportunities, an electric vehicle with charge points on site and company benefits.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:
* Undertaking planned inspection and maintenance according to legal, technical, manufacturer and contractual requirements
* Performing reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis and resolution in a timely manner
* Carrying out site surveys as required
* Compiling accurate and appropriate documentation for both internal and external stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
* Keeping accurate and detailed records of electrical testing, and safety documents that are suitable for audit
* Ensuring that work output meets technical quality, reliability, cost, and productivity
* Complying with the company Health & Safety Policy, including carrying out general housekeeping
* Complying with all aspects of the company’s ISO standards: Quality management - ISO 9001 / Environmental - ISO 14001 proactively contributing to the company’s continuous improvement programme
* Participating in an on-call rota
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications or equivalent
* 17th/18th (preferably) edition wiring regulations
* Ideally at least a year’s experience in electrical/O&M work
* EV charge point commissioning and O&M experience would be advantageous
* 3 Phase experience is ideal
