As a Toolmaker with our company, you will focus on the delicate art of designing, manufacturing, and maintaining tooling, jigs, and fixtures necessary to meet both in-house and external client specifications. Your days will involve close collaboration with designers, customers, and third-party contractors, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to reality. You'll have the chance to showcase your expertise in various processes including turning, milling, and precision grinding.
Hours of Work: Full-time
Toolmaker Requirements:
* Proven experience in press tool design and manufacture, including coining and embossing.
* Excellent proficiency in tool designing and demonstrable experience with Autocad or equivalent.
* Comprehensive skills in milling, cylindrical and form grinding, and Wire EDM.
* Familiarity with CNC command and control systems is highly desirable.
* Relevant toolmaking qualifications (City & Guilds, Btech, or similar).
