We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to lead the Oldham, Bury, and Rochdale Sexual Health Hub, ensuring the delivery of accessible, confidential, and high-quality services that address the diverse needs of the community.

This role involves working closely with the senior team, General Manager, and Clinical Lead to effectively manage budgets, uphold safety standards, and meet contractual and performance requirements.

Key responsibilities include providing leadership and professional development for staff, overseeing resource and budget management, and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards. The Service Manager will focus on quality improvement by monitoring service outcomes and implementing evidence-based practices. Additionally, the role involves advocating for sexual health within the community, engaging in outreach and education, fostering local partnerships, and participating in strategic planning to enhance and expand services. By prioritising a positive patient experience and continuous improvement, the Service Manager will play a crucial role in advancing public health goals.

This is a full time role working 37.5 hours across the week at our Sexual Health service in Oldham.

Main Responsibilities
Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high standards of clinical care and operational efficiency.
Provide direction, support, and professional development opportunities for staff.
Oversee line management responsibilities, including performance management, appraisals, and personal development.
Oversee a range of sexual health services, ensuring they are accessible, confidential, and tailored to diverse populations.
Monitor and evaluate service outcomes, implementing improvements and evidence-based practices.
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and improve sexual health services.
Identify opportunities for service growth, partnerships, and funding.

The Ideal Candidate
Proven leadership skills, with experience leading professional, clinical, and non-clinical teams.
Experience managing KPIs, writing complex reports, and analysing data for diverse audiences.
Demonstrated financial and budget management expertise.
Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
CQC Registered Manager status.
Ability to motivate teams and support cross-team collaboration.
Proven ability to identify process gaps and deliver solutions.        


The successful applicant must hold a current UK driving license and have access to a car on a daily basis for transportation to clinic bases, meetings, events both locally and nationally.
