Sodexo Live! is delighted to be recruiting for a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join our team at Ascot Racecourse and lead all training and development initiatives for our casual, agency, and full-time employees.The role will involve working closely with the HR team, based at the Racecourse, to create engaging and relevant training content and support the Ascot Academy Training Programme and Sodexo Live! initiatives. You will design and deliver a comprehensive suite of training programmes specific to the needs of our client and ensure that all training activity is in line with internal policies and client agreements.You will have previously gained experience in events or a fast-paced demanding hospitality environment and have a comprehensive understanding of the Training Cycle and a proven track record in designing service related training.Ascot Racecourse is a destination for over 500,000 guests each year where passion, elegance, and celebration converge, and it is our team of behind-the-scenes heroes that bring every intricate detail to life.As one of the world's leading racecourses, Ascot is renowned for its rich heritage spanning over 300 years. Be part of something greater.We take pride in our commitments to make a positive change for now and future generations to come, whether through our Diversity and Inclusion strategy and training programmes, our award-winning ‘Racing To Zero’ sustainability actions, or our forward thinking employee benefits including flexible working and menopause policies, as well as health and EAP support access.AccountabilitiesTo manage the delivery of all training and development for Sodexo staff both onsite at Ascot Racecourse, whether casual, agency or full-time members of the team, through the Ascot Academy Training programme and central Sodexo Live!Develop and deliver content for 1711 by Ascot off-site events and Major Events operated under Sodexo Live!Design training content and supporting collateral, aligned to the business strategy and client led KPI’sTo support the promotion of the Ascot Academy and 1711 by Ascot BrandTo manage e-learning including design and monitoring completion ratiosThe development and delivery of the annual training plan for Ascot Racecourse and off-site events, within agreed budgetDrive employee engagement and retention through skills developmentEnsure that all training activity is aligned to the 1711 by Ascot and Sodexo brands and overarching strategyEnsure consistent delivery of the casual on-boarding programme, through evolution of the Ascot AcademyManage the development of raceday and event training packs, consistent SOP’s and briefing guidelinesLiaise with Brand Sponsors, suppliers and third parties to deliver relevant brand, skills and product trainingTHE IDEAL CANDIDATEYou will have proven experience of working in a Training role within the hospitality industry and have the ability to analyse and identify the training needs of our client.
